The Social Services Director plays a vital, multifaceted role in nursing home care. This workshop will focus on the key areas that will guide the Social Service staff to meet the needs of the residents as well as enhancing their quality of life. From the day to day responsibilities of Social Services to their role in resident advance directives and the RAI process on day one, to a review of the grievance process and revised discharge planning requirements along with tips and strategies for survey readiness on day two, the Social Services professional will be provided with information to support and enhance their critical role within the facility.
