This session focuses on IDT collaboration, documentation and best practices to support MDS coding and resident outcomes. Participants will explore strategies to enhance MDS accuracy, strengthen team collaboration, and optimize workflows to support skilled SNF services and ensure compliant, efficient documentation. The webinar includes a review of skilled level-of-care criteria, with an emphasis on supporting the skilled stay and coding that impacts reimbursement under PDPM. Attendees will gain actionable insights into the critical roles of Physicians, Nurses, Therapists, Dietary, and Social Services in documenting key areas that drive payment and improve facility documentation quality.
